The Ning Classroom 2.0 featured a video of an 8th grade language arts class using Web 2.0 tools to engage and empower students and promote literacy skills.
I have embedded the video because it offers firsthand experience of what the students are doing in the classroom and in particular how they use Google Docs to enhance their literacy skills.

The video shows how technology is being used effectively in classrooms. I like how the students are given opportunities to provide their reactions to using 2.0 tools. There are many teachers that have no idea this is happening in other schools. Where I work, I think it would be a good clip to show at a staff meeting and generate conversation before asking teachers to use these tools. I think videos like that help teachers see globally where other educators and students are coming from.
